TAPPING VOLTAGES EASILY AND SAFELY
Continuous and comprehensive data recording is an essential prerequisite for sustainable energy management. In addition to detailed information about electrical use, this primarily includes meaningful information about voltage. Using the new voltage taps, the measurement voltage can be safely and easily tapped. The 855 Series Voltage Taps are equipped with insulation displacement connectors, so that insulated round cables can be contacted in just one twist of the wrist without using tools. Because no separation of the conductor is involved, they are particularly suited for retroactive installation in existing systems. The voltage taps are suitable for cross sections ranging from 2.5 mm2 to 6 mm2 (14–10 AWG) and from 10 mm2 to 16 mm2 (8–6 AWG).
The voltage path is additionally provided with an integrated 2 A fuse, which satisfies the protection against short circuit and overload prescribed by DIN VDE 0100. The 855 Series Voltage Taps are suitable for connection to the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 Series 3-Phase Power Measurement Modules. The measurement data is recorded, processed, and transmitted there. In connection with Rogowski coils, as well as plug-in and split-core current transformers, currents and voltages can be reliably recorded. WAGO offers a comprehensive portfolio for energy data recording.
